World-renowned University of Salamanca Spanish classes are now available in Houston exclusively at LCI Language Centers. The University of Salamanca, founded nearly 800 years ago, is the oldest Hispanic university and the third-oldest university in the world. It has built a reputation for quality in language studies, especially Spanish courses for non-native speakers, which attract thousands of students every year.
With nearly 1.5 million Spanish-speaking residents, Houston is an ideal American city to learn—and use—Spanish. Our language school is located in the historic neighborhood of Montrose, next to the University of St. Thomas in Houston’s Museum District. We are proud to offer a welcoming, professional staff and beautiful facilities including multiple classrooms, a computer room, a student lounge and kitchen, an outdoor patio and free off-street parking. The neighborhood is served by four stops on the METRORail, Houston’s light rail line. Within 3-5 blocks of our school are stops for several buses, two of which go downtown and to the light rail a mile away.
Our Spanish classes in Houston are available for a variety of levels, ages and learners (including specialized courses for executives, companies and groups). We also offer Spanish for specific purposes, including business Spanish, medical Spanish and Spanish for tourism and hospitality. In addition, for those wishing to obtain an official certificate proving their level in Spanish, we offer courses to prepare for a number of international exams.
